IC CRP participated in an international conference on combating the Russian Federation’s hybrid aggression

Representatives of the International Center for Countering Russian Propaganda (IC CRP) took part in the International Scientific and Practical conference “Hybrid Aggression of the Russian Federation: Experience of Ukraine’s Counteraction, consequences for Europe”.

The event was organized by the National Defense University named after Ivan Cherniakhovsky and the Norwegian Defense University College.

The participants of the conference were representatives of NATO and the European Union, soldiers and diplomats from Norway, Poland, Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Canada, and the United States.

The Director of the International Center for Countering Russian Propaganda, military and political expert Yury Kochevenko, Yuriy Tsurko, a researcher of the ICRP and a lecturer of the National Research University; Dmytro Gromakov, an analyst and sociologist; Valentina Bykova, an analyst and medical expert of the IC CRP, as well as Snizhana Polyanska, Deputy Director of the ICCRP were also invited to participate in the meeting.

Within the framework of the conference, the results of the Ukrainian-Norway project “Ukraine and Total Defense” were discussed, which is based on our country’s practical experience in opposing the Russian Federation’s aggression. Yuriy Kochevenko and Dmytro Gromakov took an active part in the discussion on this issue.

Yuriy Tsurko made a report “Russia’s Use of the Center-Specific Strategies as a Component of the Hybrid War against Ukraine and the West”.

Valentina Bykova gave her remarks on the report “Militarization of Children and Children in the Temporarily Occupied Territories of Donetsk and Luhansk Regions”.

Experts of the International Center countering Russian Propaganda also joined the discussion panels: “Influence operations, socio-centric strategies of the Russian Federation”, “Military-patriotic organizations and the struggle for identity”, “Information policy in the sphere of defense and strategic communications”.
