Information from the Defence Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine

According to the Ukrainian Defence Ministry’s information, Russia continues to increase its pressure on the public in the temporarily occupied territories in Donetsk and Luhansk regions. In particular, the occupants are trying to induce anti-Ukrainian attitudes in the community and form a strong pro-Russian attitude, especially among the young people.
It is disguised as advertisements and appeals to take part in the elections to the Russian authorities.

 

At the same time, the Russian occupation administrations have been active in targeting the youngsters, who will be 18 years old by 1 November this year, as well as their parents. The aim is to prepare documents for the acquisition of Russian citizenship by the teenagers and their inclusion to vote in elections for the Russian Federation.
